The Pentagon is moving on in cloud computing. On July 6, the US Department of Defense announced it was cancelling a cloud computing contract with Microsoft, called JEDI, that could eventually have been worth $10 billion. Instead, the Pentagon will pursue a deal with Microsoft and Amazon, and possibly other providers.
