New York City tops world’s worst air pollution list from Canada wildfire smoke

The city’s schools are open but are not having outdoor activities as the air quality is expected to deteriorate throughout the day.The Federal Aviation Administration on Wednesday halted some flights bound for New York’s LaGuardia Airport due to the smoke.
