Africa before it was colonised by the first Europeans, the Greeks who occupied it in 332 BC was known as Alkebu LAN.
AlkebuLAN meaning Mother of Nations or Mother of Mankind. So it was only ideal when you trying to create a single currency for Africa, the name Africa is ignored to remove the shackles put on her by her European masters.
Africa’s future currency will be known as The Alkebu LAN’s Money. A single currency, from Algeria to South Africa and from Senegal to Somalia. No more currency conversion between Nigeria and Ghana or from Ethiopia to Sudan. There won’t be Sudan and South Sudan or Ethiopia and Eretria. This was the creation by the European colonisers.

The African Union has enabled visa-free travel between countries but struggling to create a single currency for its citizens. The East African shilling and the ECOWAS started as early as 2004 it is 2021 and neither has come to fruition. A single currency is desperately needed to help to trade between countries in Africa.
