An Overview of Our Specialty Programs
Every individual who comes through our doors has the assurance of a highly personalized plan of treatment, thanks to these specialty programs:
- Empower! Women’s Program – addresses issues like low self-esteem, shame, fear, trust issues, trauma, depression, and addictive disorders, with the understanding that many of these issues stem from experiences of domestic violence, sexual abuse and other traumatic life events that disproportionately affect women— and that are more efficiently processed and treated in a single gender context. The emphasis is on how a strong social support network can help women achieve recovery together.
- Shatterproof First Responders Program – combines innovative medical care, evidence-based therapies, peer support groups, and a comprehensive wellness program into a customized plan of care that addresses PTSD in particular (in addition to other substance abuse and mental health issues that disproportionately affect first responders).
- Behavioral Health Program – is for anyone with an addiction or other mental disorder, and is designed to help them better understand their condition and to equip them with both therapeutic and healthy lifestyle tools and techniques for managing and overcoming their disease.
- Mental Health Program – is for anyone with a primary mental health disorder, such as attention deficit disorder (ADD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, bipolar disorder, and depression, among other conditions. The personalized psychiatric and psychological services that we provide in this program include medications, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, peer support groups, mental health education, and coping skills.
- Last Bet Gambling Addiction Program – is for individuals whose compulsive gambling addiction is secondary to another mental illness, and consists of a highly structured and comprehensive program of medical and clinical care that takes place at our residential treatment facility.
- Sober Skills Program – is a non-therapeutic immersion program that, as an alternative to our highly structured residential treatment program, introduces clients to practical spiritual exercises for recovery such as the “12 Steps” and mindfulness meditation. Clients also receive career planning services like resume building and tips for job interviews, while living within a sober living home environment that is all contained within our campus.
- Working in Recovery – is for working professionals who need flexible treatment options for addiction and/or another mental health condition. Through a program that accommodates their work schedule and treatment needs, they can receive drug and alcohol detox, group and individual therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and 12-step interventions (among others), and holistic care.
