Oddo Meriten Asset Management is an asset management arm of ODDO BHF group. It is a common brand of the two asset management companies ODDO BHF AM SAS (France) and ODDO BHF AM GmbH (Germany). The firm has been created by acquisition of German investment firm Meriten Investment Management by French group Oddo & Cie from BNY Mellon in 2015. The former name of this firm is WestLB Mellon Asset Management which is a global investment management organization, with operations in the US, Europe and Australia. The private equity group was first organized in 1997 as the Private Markets Group of Forstmann-Leff International. In September 2000, the Private Markets Group was acquired by WestAM, the predecessor to WestLB Mellon Asset Management, at which time they assumed responsibility for all its assets under management and client relationships.
