THE NEW GENERATION OF LUXURY.
The Barcelona EDITION is located on the edge of El Born District, in the heart of the city, beside the Barcelona Cathedral and right next to the Santa Caterina Market, steps away from main city beaches, las Ramblas and main luxury shops as well as Gaudí buildings on Passeig de Gràcia. The hotel features 100 guest rooms, a signature restaurant, state of the art club and lounge, bespoke cocktail bar, rooftop bar, outdoor pool and fitness center.
Next to the colorful Santa Caterina Market in the vibrant El Born district, this upscale hotel is within a 5-minute walk of both the Museu Picasso and a metro station.
Polished rooms come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars, plus tea and coffeemakers. Suites add balconies, sitting areas and/or separate living rooms; upgraded suites also offer kitchenettes and dining areas. Some have panoramic city views. Room service is available 24/7.
There’s a sophisticated lobby bar/eatery and a trendy basement restaurant, plus a gym. A rooftop area features an outdoor pool and a chic tapas bar.
HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Each of the 100 rooms are adorned with walnut panelling, evocative of the shutters that dominate the old town’s narrow street facades and floors made of fresh whitened oak herringbone parquet. The beds welcome guests with imported luxury Anichini linens and unique, custom designed furniture covered in carefully selected fabrics, such as the embossed Spanish leather headboards, adding a warm and sophisticated touch. Breathtaking views of Barcelona’s skyline add to the feeling of insulated calm within the rooms. The sense of calm extends to the bathrooms, finished in white Sivec marble detailed with contrasting brass hardware. Two stunning penthouses set the standard for luxury in Barcelona, each with their own private terrace equipped with laid-back lounge areas and dining furniture for private al-fresco meals and relaxation under the Catalan sun.
CULINARY GENIUS IN BARCELONA
A spectacular lobby bar serving locally produced vermouth, craft beer, and sherry will act to unite the hotel’s reception with an informal all-day dining restaurant overseen, alongside the hotel’s two further dining concepts, by partner chef and founder of the global movement ‘Cooking in Motion’, Sebastián Mazzola, formerly creative director of the Adrià Group, developing the concepts behind the city’s famed Tickets and Pakta. Bar Veraz offers a menu of affordable dishes that focus on the freshest, seasonal ingredients to attract not only residents, but locals alike. In the mornings the space offers guests a light and airy a la carte breakfast experience. For lunch and dinner, the menu features a cutting edge interpretation of Mediterranean specialties complemented by a regionally focused wine list including more than 30 wines from local vineyards.
