About

In case the title isn’t clear, this is a blog about business ethics, broadly understood. It features news & commentary about corporate ethics here. If you believe either
a) that corporations have a god-given right to accumulate as much capital as possible without regard for who gets hurt along the way, or
b) that all corporations, and all people who work for them, are inherently evil, you will probably be irritated by this blog.

The blog is written by Chris MacDonald, Ph.D.

Chris is a writer, speaker, and consultant on ethics. A philosopher by training, he teaches at Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Management, and is a Nonresident Senior Fellow at Duke University’s Kenan Institute for Ethics. He is co-editor of the Business Ethics Journal Review.

He has been named one of the“100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics”, four years in a row.

He has been writing The Business Ethics Blog since November of 2005.
