It was 1978 and the first The Cheesecake Factory restaurant was opened in Beverly Hills, CA. The restaurant was an immediate success as the upscale casual dining that we provided was well loved by all many people. With great foresight and intuition, our founder decided to open a restaurant to showcase his mother’s selection of cheesecakes. Somehow he just knew that guests would enjoy a restaurant with an extensive dessert menu. Today there are more than 200 The Cheesecake Factory restaurants around the world that share our founder’s commitment to quality and spirit of innovation and hard work.
