Alicia Sedgwick is a Communication Coach, Corporate Trainer, Author and professional MC based in Monte Carlo, Monaco, with an extensive background in the Entertainment and Events Industry.

Her first book “Communicating Through Change” became an overnight international bestseller upon its launch in January 2021.

She teaches at the International University of Monaco as well as offering private coaching to Corporations, Associations, International Schools, Foundations and individuals.

Alicia has hosted three Tedx Conferences, managed International Press Conferences for the London 2012 Olympics, and Managed red carpets for the Laureus World Sports Awards. She has Managed Talent Relations for the BBC Chelsea Flower Show in London, and in the “Green Room” of the World Music Awards.

In 2021, Alicia co-curated Monaco's first TEDx Youth Event held at the International School of Monaco.

A professional blues singer and stage performer for over 25 years, Alicia has hosted her own Internet TV Show, and Radio Show.

A City-trained lawyer, Alicia is co-founder and Managing Director of Absolutely Monte Carlo, an Events Management Company, and Monte Carlo Media Inc.

Teaching public speaking at the International University of Monaco, Alicia found out firsthand during the lockdown in early 2020 that she needed to completely revamp how she taught her courses to dozens of students no longer allowed into the classroom or even into the Country. She also created badly needed training programs to help camera-shy corporate CEOs look professional and convincing on ZOOM and other online platforms.

In her book, Alicia Sedgwick talks intimately about the loss of loved ones, life-threatening illnesses and risky lifestyle changes. She uses her own painful experiences of life-changing moments and offers lessons to be shared as well as practical exercises, insightful tips and uplifting affirmations for those wishing to embrace change rather than be its victim.
