In this session, Forward Co-Founder and early Uber employee Ilya Abyzov will speak about the power of disruption to dramatically improve industries such as healthcare.  He will illustrate how innovative business models have already upended other industries - sharing several anecdotes from his Uber experience – and will reveal the potential to create a new healthcare model combining nutrition, lifestyle and medical care to offer the doctor’s office of the future, today.  Attendees will understand how doctor-led programs focused on identifying issues from the top preventable diseases, like cancer and heart disease can help patients stay healthy for the long-term.  They will also learn how are the use of developing technologies, such as biometrics and AI, are being used in medicine to create greater efficiencies.

Ilya Abyzov is co-founder of Forward, an entirely new healthcare system empowering doctors to monitor and guide long-term health. He started Forward after almost four years at Uber where he was an early employee and the first general manager for San Francisco and the Northwest U.S. Prior to Uber, he held positions at Zynga, HBK Capital Management and Morgan Stanley. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A from Stanford University.
