With its colorful streets filled with shops selling trekking gear and cafes nestled against the backdrop of high mountains\, Kathmandu sets the stage for your adventure. Currency exchange is recommended as cash is the primary mode of payment in the trekking areas.\n\nDay 2: Kathmandu (1\,330M) to Lukla (2\,860M) to Phakding (2\,652M) \n\nDuration: 35 min (flight to Lukla) + 3 hours (trek to Phakding)\nDistance: 7 km trek\nStart with a scenic flight to Lukla\, offering exquisite views of Nepal’s landscape. Begin trekking from Lukla to Phakding\, crossing cobbled stone paths and entering forests.
