NagaCorp was founded in 1995 by Tan Sri Dr Chen Lip Keong with a 40 year exclusivity casino license within 200km radius of Phnom Penh, the capital city and the largest city in Cambodia. The Company has been listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (“HKSE”) since 2006 and was the first gaming company initial public offering in HKSE.
NagaCorp owns, manages and operates the largest integrated gaming and entertainment hotel complex in the Mekong Region – NagaWorld, which is located in the heart of Phnom Penh City in close proximity to Phnom Penh International Airport, Royal Palace of Cambodia and other key attractions. NagaWorld features a world-class 700-room hotel, 18 award-winning food and beverage outlets, as well as an award winning spa and other luxurious entertainment outlets such as roof-top swimming pool and clubs.
As at 31 December 2017, NagaWorld had 384 gaming tables and 2,250 electronic gaming machines in operation. NagaWorld is also widely recognized as a popular meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (“MICE”) destination. This includes 25,000 square meters of meeting and ballroom space, a stand-alone 6,500 square-meter ballroom, a 60-seat auditorium, and an exhibition space.
The opening of the NagaCity Walk (“NCW”) in August 2016 was a major milestone for the company. NCW enhances the shopping experience with variety of brands and products. The company’s strategic partner, China Duty Free Group (CDFG), the largest duty-free operator in China and the operator of the largest duty-free shop in the world, is currently operating the duty-free shopping at NCW.
NagaCorp has contributed not only to the economy but also to the community of Cambodia for over 20 years. NagaCorp is the largest private sector employer and the largest donor to the Red Cross in Cambodia. Through NagaCorp Kind Hearts and Naga Academy, NagaCorp continues to support Cambodia’s nation building.
