Is there a time limitation to when I can file my case?

Any medical negligence or personal injury case has a time limitation beyond which you cannot file your case.  This time limitation is called a Statute of Limitations.  This is why it is very important to contact Crandall & Pera Law, LLC to discuss your case as quickly as you can.  Most medical malpractice cases have a statute of limitations as short as one year, which can be extended by six months in certain cases.  Wrongful death actions carry a two-year statute of limitations, as do personal injury cases, however neither of those limitations can be extended absent filing a case.  It is very important that you move fast and contact us before the time period has run out.

What type of damages are necessary for a valid case?

There are many elements for a successful case, beyond just proving someone was negligent. Cleveland, Ohio can be a very conservative jurisdiction for damages so it is necessary to bring cases forward that have significant damages. These include:
