The largest advantage that Gorilla Tag now has is that it is entirely online, especially considering how rapidly the community is growing. The game is as lively as I can recall a VR game being, and after more than a week of play, I still haven’t located a room. It’s difficult for me to believe that the game’s current game types won’t be expanded upon given the huge amount of hype it has received. Although there is now technically two game modes, there is still only one map. Since the gameplay of this game lays the groundwork for what might become the next great thing in virtual reality, its longevity will primarily depend on additional maps and modes.
