Hungry Monkey Baking Company was founded in 2010 by Cindy Kienzl. To benefit children with learning disabilities, Cindy baked her signature chocolate chip banana bread for a local two-day charity event. Her chocolate chip banana bread was sold out on both days. People immediately started calling to ask if they could get a loaf of bread from her house. Six weeks later, The Hungry Monkey Baking Company, LLC., was launched at a local farmers market.
