I’m a Senior IT developer with lots of experience in architecture and software development. I’ve worked in various industries, including banking and finance. One of my standout achievements was creating an insurance platform that successfully addressed the challenges caused by Katrina Hurricane. The government actually recognized it as the best solution out there.
Let me explain what Huur is all about. We help people who own cars connect with those who want to rent cars. Our platform is unique because we take care of parking and camera violations, as well as toll payments. We’re also working on including information from the Taxi & Limousine Commission (TLC) and the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to keep car owners updated. When someone lists their car on our app, they usually receive booking requests within just 5 to 7 minutes. That’s pretty fast!
In the past 7 months, we’ve processed transactions worth around $300,000. It’s quite an achievement considering we haven’t had the chance to advertise much due to limited funds.
