The John C. Kluczynski Federal Building & US Post Office, Loop Station at South Dearborn Street, is where the IRS office in Chicago is located. The building was created by renowned Chicago architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The building was completed in 1975. Numerous government departments, including the Department of Labor, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the General Services Administration, the Office of Personnel Management, and the offices of two United States Senators, are housed in this 43-story structure.
