Jennifer Laman, DO comes to Access Heathcare directly from completing her residency at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida, where she was recognized for her leadership abilities by being named Chief Resident of Family Medicine and Chief Administrative Resident for Largo Medical Center. This year she received the Resident of the Year Award for 2011-2012.

Dr. Laman is a graduate of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida where she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Dr. Laman’s achievements during her current medical career are truly outstanding. She graduate Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Sciences and Exercise Physiology in 2003. In 2006 she received the Business Advisory Council’s Business Woman of the Year Aware and in the following years received the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association student award (FOMA), FOMA Seltzer and legislative Award and the FMLA Student Leadership Award.

She is an active member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and Florida Society of American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Her practice philosophy is one in which she is dedicated to treating every individual patient as a “whole” person as she was trained to do as an osteopathic physician.
