S&P, Nasdaq 100 futures are higher after Apple & Facebook beat estimates

U.S. stock index futures were higher in early morning trading on Thursday, after the major averages posted losses the day before.Futures contracts tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 88 points. S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures also traded in positive territory.Apple and Facebook’s strong quarterly results boosted futures. Apple said that sales jumped 54% during the quarter, with each product category seeing double-digit growth.
