More than 100 Russians landed in the Dominican Republic after coronavirus restrictions on flights to and from the nation were lifted, according to Vyacheslav Pankov, chief of the Russian embassy’s section in Punta Cana told TASS.
According to him, 100-115 individuals came at La Romana Casa De Campo International Airport, the majority of them were tourists. “As far as I know, plans call for three flights to Punta Cana every week,” Pankov added.
