Oil Exports from Russia Drop 5.6%

According to figures provided by the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel Energy Complex, Russia’s oil exports decreased by 5.6 percent year on year to 166.2 million tonnes in January-September 2021, TASS reports.
As a result of Russia’s participation in the OPEC+ pact to limit oil output, its supplies overseas have been curtailed as well. Beginning in the spring, the agreement’s signatories are progressively lifting limitations and restarting oil output. As a result, Russian oil shipments climbed by 4.1 percent to 18.6 million tonnes in September 2021.
